"Sing a Song of Sixpence" is a musical, interactive iPad app based on the classic childrens tale of the same. Created from public domain text, illustrations and audio, it features Walter Cranes original drawings with page animation. The app also features a colorful "Lullaby Maker" musical board on every story page (in a popover window).

The app can be navigated either using the left and right arrow icons, or by swiping a single finger left (to go forward a page) or right (to go backward a page) across the screen.

To hear the song snippets for each screen, tap on the printed text or speaker icon at the bottom of most pages.

To see the music board, tap the double-note icon to the left of the right-arrow key. This board is different than a piano keyboard in appearance, but contains the 8 notes of the C4 Maj scale -- each note being represented by a different colored button. There are multiple arrangements of the scale on the music board, to give you freedom to experiment with your own lullabies without being restricted to a piano keyboard.

This app can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Parents and guardians may want to review this free app first before viewing by very young children, in order to show them how to use the app.
